SHOWCASE YOUTH ARTICLE OF THE MONTH BY PRINCE MALIK!
My outlook on being a teenager and set-apart. 

 I'm 14 years of age and can only tell you about my personal encounters. I didn't notice too many changes but the ones I did, are major. There is no dating before you become of age. You would think this would be an easy thing to avoid, but in school it’s a completely different story. The peer pressure can be too much sometimes.  I would advise that if this is an issue for you, talk about it with a trusted adult and more importantly talk to YAHUAH. We know he has all the answers. Then you have the basics: no drinking , no smoking and stay out of trouble. The biggest for me is peer pressures. Trying or wanting to fit in with the other kids is a challenge at times. Then I remember that Yahuah has called me to be set apart and bring His light to the other nations. Choosing my friends was another important area. You may not be able to find Hebrew friends so I tried to find people with the same morals. For example, most of my friends are muslims we may not share the same faith but we know how important it is to respect our families and show respect to adults. I also am able to share different things with them regarding the Hebrew faith. I also try to pay attention to what I watch and read to make sure this is not affecting me in a spiritual way. I love music and there are alot or good Hebrew artists out there, men and women that create music that praise the Most High.  Examples are; Anaviel The Servant, BritYah, Eshon Burgundy,Darak Ibar. and many more.

Over all as a set-apart teen. I try to remember to pray and take everything to Abba Yahuah.
